Introduction to Aikido for Foreigners online registration https://forms.gle/gdnEt91dybz7swyp9 This is a special introductory course to Aikido training for foreigners. It is conducted entirely in English. Our goal is to integrate foreigners living in Wrocław into the dojo community. Wrocław is full of people from all over the world - often hard-working and lonely in our city. Wrocław Aikikai is an international community and a place that brings together people of different traditions. Over the 15 years of its existence, several thousand people from over 30 countries have trained with us. Training in Aikido, weapons, and meditation integrates and allows you to meet new people, introduce a bit of discipline, healthy movement, and relaxation into your life. The course consists of several hours in the dojo - a place where martial arts is practiced. You will familiarize yourself with the place, try Japanese Zazen meditation, breathing exercises, and the basics of Aikido. You will learn simple techniques and safe falling. If you enjoy this experience, we cordially invite you to participate in the training. We would be pleased to meet you! The course fee includes the book "Kingdom of Dust" about the Aikido way and the building of our dojo. The course fee is 150 PLN, which goes towards the dojo's maintenance costs. Date: Saturday, February 7, 2026 Course Schedule: 10:00 AM - Tour of the dojo and introduction to the unique features of the place 10:20 AM - Aikido basics (simple training of basic techniques and safe falls) 11:00 AM - Introduction to meditation (relaxation and breathing exercises) 11:40 AM - Weapons training (basics of working with a wooden sword and staff - equipment provided) 12:40 PM - Tea and course summary.
