First - The little gem - the city of Swidnica with its 60 thousand inhabitants, located approx 60 km from Wroclaw. I will take you to the Church of Peace and to the charming old town, with a small market square and beautiful tenement houses dotted with sculptures and narrow cobbled stone streets. The Swidnica Church of Peace is one of only 2 so-called Churches of Peace built in the XVII century that remain in Europe. It is unique as it was originally built only of wood and is to this day. It has been a Lutheran church since its consecration. We will also see the Cathedral of Swidnica with the largest Gothic window in the region. Swidnica suffered only slight damage during World War II, which makes it rich in heritage and interesting. Ksiaz Castle is the third-largest castle in Poland and is located in a natural park among the forests. Its our Neuschwanstein romantic castle and has an incredible history of being owned by one family for over 450 years. During the tour we will also walk the beautiful Ksiazanski Park and will see its hidden attractions includign a few great vantage points overlooking the castle.
