The International Conference on Economic and Financial Modeling (ICEFMod 2026) is a scientific event co-organised by Kozminski University, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (Ukraine). 🎓 The conference provides a platform for academics, industry practitioners, and policymakers to meet and exchange ideas on cutting-edge quantitative methods and their applications in analysing financial markets, institutions, and complex economic systems. 📈 The conference is sponsored by Elsevier and the journal Economic Modelling. The first edition of the conference was held last year at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. The conference focuses on advanced economic and financial modeling, including, among others, financial econometrics, credit risk modeling, portfolio management and investment strategies, corporate finance, banking sector stability, climate risk in banking, behavioral finance, macroeconomic and microeconomic modeling, economic forecasting, economic policy and financial regulation, systemic risk, labor markets, income inequality, economic growth, and the interconnections between financial markets and the real economy. An important area of interest also includes the political economy of war and conflicts.🌏 A special feature of this year's conference will be a dedicated panel on the Ukrainian economy and the impact of the Russian war in Ukraine on Ukraine and neighboring countries.
