This Dykequiri is a little different, for the first time, there will be an entry fee. we want to be completely transparent about why: we are a grassroots collective, and we don't make any money off these parties. Every pln goes into creating this space, covering DJ fees, venue costs, staff, etc. We've considered sponsorships, but the options we found so far don't align with our values. It's about prioritizing a community space that centers FLINTA people because we often don't get to feel that elsewhere. This helps limit overrepresentation and supports the purpose of Dykequiri: keeping it grounded in joy, care, and safety.
