This is a two part webinar series: Please join us on: Part 1 -Tuesday 4th August 2026 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm AEDT Part 2 - Tuesday 11th August 2026 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm AEDT Where: Online CPE: 3 CPE points Webinar Recording: Registering for this live event will also give you access to the webinar recording. Webinar recordings can be watched at any time. Topic: Upper Limb Nerve Pain Part 1 & 2 This two-part webinar will focus on altered upper limb neural biomechanics, also known as upper limb tension disorders and more recently referred to as "altered neural dynamics". This musculoskeletal condition can lead to upper limb pain that can radiate into the hand and fingers, altered sensation that can also radiate into the hand and fingers, a deep aching sensation in the arm region and movement restrictions when performing overhead activities. This pathology can also play a role in lateral elbow pain, medial elbow pain and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This two-part webinar will cover the peripheral neural anatomy of the upper limb and associated altered biomechanics that can contribute to altered neural dynamics leading to nerve pain of the Medium nerve, Radial nerve and the Ulna nerve. The common peripheral neural entrapment points of the upper limb will be covered in detail as well as the associated anatomy trains that can contribute to neural entrapment. Upper limb peripheral neural tension testing (altered neural dynamics) of all three peripheral nerves will be examined in detail focusing on pain production, altered sensation and restriction in neural mobility impeding the ability of the neural structures to glide and slide efficiently. Differential diagnosis of the presenting condition using clinical reasoning skills to rule in/out other possible pathologies will then be discussed in detail, following this a myofascial treatment plan focusing on specific regions that can entrap these peripheral nerves will also be covered. The final part of the presentation will conclude with specific neural mobility exercises that the client can take home to help aid in their recovery as well specific corrective stretches for the associated myofascial pathways that can contribute to this condition Presenter: Rob Orr Rob Orr is a clinical myotherapist and a Credentialed McKenzie Therapist (one of only 170 in Australia). He specialises in acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain of the spine and the extremities, sciatica, musculoskeletal injuries related to sport and altered bio-mechanics, corrective exercises, functional stretching, and client education/self-management. With over 15 years of experience in myotherapy and lecturing, Rob is currently working in a private practice and lecturing at Victoria University Polytechnic. Rob is passionate about continuously updating his knowledge in the most current evidence-based research and strives to never stop learning.
