Designed for manual therapists and movement professionals, it offers a detailed examination of the structures most commonly affected, mechanisms of injury, and key considerations for assessment and treatment. Grounded in clinical relevance, this workshop bridges anatomical theory with practical application. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this session, participants will be able to: · Identify key overuse injuries commonly seen in sports. · Describe the anatomical structures and tissues most often affected by repetitive strain. Integrate anatomical knowledge into treatment planning for improved outcomes. · Recognise early signs of overuse to support prevention and timely intervention. Presenter: Rafael Bucater Specialist in musculoskeletal massage therapy, deep tissue and remedial massage, and postural and biomechanical assessment. Rafael has a bachelor's degree in physical education, a post-graduate degree in exercise physiology overseas, and a diploma in fitness, sports, and remedial massage, in Australia. Rafael is currently lecturing at the Australian Institute of Fitness, Adelaide campus in fitness and massage courses and has done so for the last 9 years. Rafael Bucater has presented at the 2019 South Australian Sports Medicine FAST conference to sports trainers on sports massage techniques and self-care techniques.
