This is a blended online Mental Health First Aid training course that includes a self paced eLearning component and an instructor-led component via video conferencing. The course teaches participants about the signs and symptoms of mental health literacy and provides practical skills needed to support someone experiencing a mental health problem, or in a mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves. It informs participants the types of help and supports available and how to help someone access the support they need using a practical, evidence based action plan. Training format: Self paced eLearning modules - 6 to 8 hours to complete Participants must allow for adequate time to complete the 6-8 hours eLearning component prior and notify the trainer prior by the due date prior to the 1st scheduled interactive Zoom session. Instructor led video conferencing sessions - 2 x 2.5 hours Total CPD hours 12 scientific COURSE TIMELINE: Registration closes - Monday 27th July 2026 unless sold out prior eLearning materials distributed - Monday 3rd of August 2026 eLearning must be completed by - Monday 31st August 2026 Zoom links sent to participants - Multiple links will be sent; one at the time of registration, the day prior to the first zoom session and one hour prior to the zoom session. 1st Online Zoom session - Wednesday 16th September 2026 2nd Online Zoom session - Wednesday 23rd September 2026 Webinar Times - 16th September & 23rd September 2026: NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, QLD - 7:30pm - 10:00pm SA, NT - 7:00 pm - 9:30pm WA - 5:30pm - 8:00pm
