MIKE SANCHEZ & The PORTIONS

Making a long overdue return to the venue is British singer/pianist Mike Sanchez, one of the finest, most charismatic and exciting performers of vintage style rhythm & blues, roots rock and roll and boogie woogie. Mike fronted the Big Town Playboys who over the years had the support of many rock and blues legends who he´s recorded, toured and made lasting friends with such as Robert Plant, Gary Brooker, Eric Clapton, Andy Fairweather-Low, Albert Lee, Mick Fleetwood, Jeff Beck and Bill Wyman who´s supergroup Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings Mike joined for 4 years. Mike´s solo career has included shows such as the Mike Sanchez Rhythm & Blues Revue which for 6 years featured Dublin vocalist Imelda May before her global success. Mike who is now based in Spain, returned to the UK during the summer of 2025 after an absence of 5 years and was welcomed with many sold out shows that have prompted Mike to schedule the summer tour for 2026.
