Craft Meetup: DelaWarm

Create handmade items-including hats, scarves, and other winter essentials - to be distributed directly to those in need. DelaWarm began as a small personal effort but has grown into a deeply meaningful mission centered on providing warmth, dignity, and care during the coldest months of the year. Help DelaWarm prepare for the upcoming winter season. The goal is to create and distribute 350 items, including 100 scarves, 100 ear warmers, and 150 knit hats, to individuals across Delaware facing harsh weather conditions. Many of DelaWarm's recipients have little to protect them from freezing temperatures, and a single handmade item can make an immediate difference. You provide the knitting needles or crochet hook and DelaWarm provides the rest. (Note: DelaWarm relies heavily on donated yarn and supplies to continue this work. Feel free to bring donations to the meetup! Every donation-no matter the size-directly helps create items that will keep someone warm this winter.)
