Belle Miners Feat Hell's Belles Backyard Concert!

You're invited to a sweet little backyard concert shindig in Steve Marc's very own backyard!* "Doors" at 6:30 and music starts at 7pm. BYO drinks, blanket/chairs and nibbles. Tickets $25 (ticket link incoming or talk to Steve). Festival favourites Belle Miners are known for their lush harmonies, genuine stories and witty stage banter. With 3 members being Selkirk College Alumni, the now international folk/pop collaboration surprisingly formed in Australia while touring the East coast as a duo and opening solo act, and as unlikely as it seems, stayed an 'Australian band' until finally touring in Canada and Europe in 2018. One member is based in Broome, WA (Jaime Jackett), and the other two (Felicia Harding, Marina Avros) on Vancouver Island, Canada, and the band's newest member, Perth born drummer Daine Spowart, is now also based in Canada. Drawing on long-term musical relationships the band has thrived despite the seemingly impossible distances. The band is so excited to return to Canada for a brief, sweet little tour (named the "Elevations tour" in honour of the amazing Kootenays!) on the heels of another Australian tour, releasing their new track "February Song". www.belleminers.com.
