The conference will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 14-15, 2026, online on the Microsoft Teams platform. Conference Keynote Speakers will present on Friday, August 14, from 5 pm to 7 pm CET (Warsaw time). The remaining speakers will present their papers on Friday, August 14 (from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM) and on Saturday, August 15, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. We reserve the right to extend the conference to Sunday, August 16, 2026, in case of a very large number of speakers. ➡️THEME OF THE CONFERENCE The International Conference on Foreign Policy & Security Studies is a unique international conference in which diplomats, scholars and professionals from around the world will present the most pressing foreign and security policy challenges facing the modern Western world and outline their potential consequences. 🗄 The conference will be divided into two panels: 📕 an expert panel during which Keynote Speakers - professors, former ambassadors and professionals from the world of international relations - will present the results of their research while addressing the challenges in security science that the 21st century brings. 📗 a general panel during which the results of the work of students, doctoral students and more experienced researchers from Poland and abroad will be presented. Proposed (sample) thematic areas of your conference presentation: → Global governance and the challenges of multilateralism in the 21st century → Nuclear proliferation and the risk of conflict escalation → Cybersecurity and the future of warfare → The role of non-state actors in shaping foreign policy and security → Counterterrorism strategies and the balance between security and civil liberties → The ongoing conflict in Ukraine and its geopolitical implications → Climate change and its impact on global security → The intersection of technology and foreign policy, including the role of artificial intelligence and the ethics of autonomous weapons systems → The changing nature of international relations and the decline of the liberal international order → Emerging threats to national security, including pandemics and biological warfare Please feel free to choose the topic of your presentation in line with your passion and expertise. Topics may be of both contemporary and historical relevance, and touch upon all problems regardless of their geographical boundaries. Panels of the conference will be arranged accordingly. The thematic areas indicated above are to be treated only as examples. We strongly encourage you to go beyond them. In addition, the speeches may be interdisciplinary in nature, combining a variety of research fields. Note: speeches do not have to be comparative in nature - speakers may address issues related to only *one* of the selected areas. We believe in academic freedom and do not censor speakers. Original presentations will always gain interest from the Conference Committee. ➡️ KEYNOTE SPEAKERS Conference Keynote Speakers will present on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm CET (Warsaw time).
