🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇮🇪 🇨🇦 🇦🇺 🇳🇿 ✨ English Speakers Meet-up in Olsztyn - December Edition ✨ We're excited to invite you to the third edition of the English Speakers Meet-up here in Olsztyn! For anyone new here: we're a Polish-American couple who really missed connecting with people from different cultures and with those who enjoy speaking English - whether they're foreigners living in Olsztyn or locals who simply love using the language. That's where the idea for this group was born. We first started talking about the meet-ups back in May, but summertime made scheduling tricky. Finally, we held our first successful meet-up in October at Česka Gospoda. The second one happened in November at Drewno i Ogień, and it was wonderful! People from different places, different stories, different languages… all sharing food, conversations, and even games! It already feels like something special is growing here. Now we're inviting you to join us for the December edition. The exact restaurant will be confirmed soon, we usually choose it together in our private group. If you'd like to be added to that group (whether for this meet-up or for future events), just send me a quick message and I'll be happy to include you. This isn't "just dinner." We're slowly building a small, warm international community here in Olsztyn - a place where: ✨ you can meet people from around the world, ✨ make new friends, ✨ practise English in a relaxed environment, ✨ share experiences about life abroad, ✨ and feel a little more at home, even if home is far away. Dla osób, które trafiają tutaj po raz pierwszy: jesteśmy parą polsko-amerykańską, której bardzo brakowało kontaktu z ludźmi z różnych kultur oraz z osobami, które lubią rozmawiać po angielsku - zarówno z obcokrajowcami mieszkającymi w Olsztynie, jak i z Polakami, którzy po prostu chcą używać języka w swobodnej atmosferze. Z tego właśnie narodził się pomysł stworzenia tej grupy. Pierwsze rozmowy o spotkaniach zaczęliśmy już w maju, ale wakacyjne zamieszanie nie sprzyjało planowaniu. W końcu udało nam się zorganizować pierwsze spotkanie w październiku w Česka Gospoda. Drugie odbyło się w listopadzie w restauracji Drewno i Ogień i było naprawdę cudowne! Pojawili się ludzie z różnych stron świata, z różnymi historiami i językami. Rozmawialiśmy, jedliśmy, wymienialiśmy się doświadczeniami, a nawet graliśmy w gry! Już teraz czujemy, że tworzy się coś wyjątkowego. Teraz zapraszamy Was na edycję grudniową. Dokładne miejsce podamy wkrótce, zazwyczaj wybieramy je wspólnie w naszej prywatnej grupie. Jeśli chcesz do niej dołączyć (nie tylko na to spotkanie, ale też na przyszłe wydarzenia), napisz do mnie wiadomość, a z przyjemnością dodam Cię do grupy. To nie są „po prostu wyjścia na kolację". Powoli tworzymy tu małą, ciepłą międzynarodową społeczność, w której: ✨ można poznać ludzi z całego świata, ✨ zawrzeć nowe znajomości, ✨ poćwiczyć angielski w luźnej atmosferze, ✨ porozmawiać o życiu za granicą, ✨ i poczuć się trochę bardziej „jak w domu", nawet jeśli dom jest daleko.
