On April 22, we celebrate Earth Day, and you're invited to join an interactive, hands-on workshop showing how everyday choices (like how we sort our waste) can make a real impact on climate change 🌍 ⠀ The workshop is organized by Svetlana Baranova, European Climate Pact Ambassador, together with students from the European Studies Institute at the Jagiellonian University. ⠀ We'll start by exploring the connection between waste and global emissions, uncovering how landfills, overconsumption, and poor recycling contribute to the climate crisis. From there, we'll introduce the concept of the circular economy and how smarter use of resources can help protect our planet. ⠀ But this won't be just a talk, get ready to play! In the second half, participants will take part in a fun, hands-on sorting challenge where you'll test your knowledge, solve tricky waste dilemmas, and learn how to "bin it right" in real life ✨ ⠀ Whether you're new to recycling or want to sharpen your skills, this workshop will leave you with practical tools, surprising insights, and motivation to act.
