Synopsis: Young Brendan lives in the Abbey of Kells, a medieval Irish monastery surrounded by walls to protect it from Viking attacks. When a famous illuminator arrives with an ancient, unfinished book, Brendan's life changes. He ventures into the dangerous forest beyond the walls, meets a mysterious fairy girl named Aisling, and discovers his own artistic talent.
