We are pleased to invite all interested to a visiting lecture by Dr Sherry A. Maykrantz entitled "Understanding the U.S. Healthcare: Structure, Financing, and Reform". Monday, 18th May 2026, 2:00 pm Library of the Institute of Sociology - room 63, I floor Grodzka Street 52 Dr. Sherry A. Maykrantz is an Associate Professor of Public Health at Salisbury University. She teaches health communication and U.S. healthcare and has led study abroad programs in Portugal, Italy, Austria, and Spain. Her research and applied work focus broadly on how individuals and systems interact to shape health behaviors, with particular attention to trust, communication, and the interpretation of complex healthcare environments across diverse contexts. Increasingly, her work incorporates international perspectives on the U.S. healthcare system.
