Each meeting consists of a film screening at Kino Pod Baranami and an informal post-screening discussion at Betel Club. The event is held in English, and the films are shown either in English, or with English subtitles. The upcoming event will feature a screening of Jim Jarmusch's FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER. 🗣️ The series is hosted by Krzysztof Bielski (Jagiellonian University) and Małgorzata Mączko (Kino Pod Baranami). ℹ️ ABOUT THE EVENT: The CINEMINO - EXPATS AND LOCALS CINEMA MEETINGS group was created in October 2023, with the goal of establishing a new space for international film gatherings, which had been missing from Kraków cinemas' repertoires. The organizers were inspired by similar initiatives that operate successfully in other European countries, and modeled the new event after the Amsterdam discussion club of the same name. Each meeting consists of a film screening at Kino Pod Baranami and an informal post-screening discussion at the partner Betel Club. ℹ️ ABOUT THE FILM: FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER | FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER (Jim Jarmusch) FR/US/IE 2025, 110' 💬 Pełen błyskotliwych obserwacji precyzyjnie skomponowany tryptyk filmowy o relacjach rodzinnych i o tym, co sprawia, że się od siebie oddalamy. Każdy z trzech rozdziałów rozgrywa się współcześnie, w innym kraju: FATHER - w północno-wschodnich Stanach Zjednoczonych, MOTHER - w Dublinie, a SISTER BROTHER - w Paryżu. Film Jarmuscha stanowi zbiór subtelnych, pełnych humoru, ale i nut melancholii portretów ludzkich charakterów. W rolach głównych m.in. Cate Blanchett, Adam Driver, Tom Waits, Vicky Krieps i Charlotte Rampling.
