A Literary Evening with Bradbury and Murakami This week, our regular Toastmasters meeting is canceled, but we are not canceling the opportunity to meet, talk, and practice speaking. Instead of the official meeting, we invite you to join us for a book-club-style discussion devoted to two short stories (It will take you just 20 minutes to read): 🌧️ "There Will Come Soft Rains" by Ray Bradbury 🎂 "Birthday Girl" by Haruki Murakami If you love the stories of Ray Bradbury or Haruki Murakami, have already read these works, or want to discover something new and share your thoughts, please come and join us. We will discuss the stories, exchange interpretations, talk about the ideas behind them, and listen to different points of view. Although this will not be a traditional Toastmasters meeting, such discussions are still a valuable way to develop our speaking skills. Please note that there will be no prepared speeches, evaluations, or Table Topics during this meeting, but you will still have an opportunity to learn more about Toastmasters. 📅 When: Wednesday at 18:30 📍 Where: Kopernika 14 (Centrum Organizacji Pozarządowych, COP)
