[🇵🇱PL poniżej⬇️] "Home by Starlight" is an author's meeting with Paula Meehan, one of the most important contemporary Irish poets, devoted to reflection on memory, truth, and the sources of language. The starting point will be the ancient Greek concept of aletheia, meaning "truth," which can be translated literally as "unforgetting." 📖During the meeting, the poet will read works that explore themes of individuality, family, and community and which draw on her personal creative sources. The event traces the patterns that shape private and public memory, and the ways in which they are maintained and transformed through poetry. 🌟The key focus will also be a reflection on the long-term process of the "ritualisation of language", which is the search for a form of expression that remains at once beautiful, truthful, and faithful to its origins. This intimate encounter with poetry reveals a multi-layered relationship between memory and forgetting, language and identity, creating a space for a shared experience of the spoken word. 👉Please note that the event is in English. [🇵🇱PL⬇️] "Dom w świetle gwiazd" to spotkanie autorskie z Paulą Meehan, jedną z najważniejszych współczesnych poetek irlandzkich, poświęcone refleksji nad pamięcią, prawdą i źródłami języka. Punktem wyjścia będzie starożytne greckie słowo "aletheia", oznaczające „prawdę", które dosłownie tłumaczone może być jako „niezapomnienie". 📖Podczas spotkania poetka przeczyta wiersze o indywidualizmie, rodzinie oraz wspólnocie, które czerpią z jej osobistych, twórczych źródeł. To opowieść o wzorcach, które kształtują pamięć prywatną i publiczną, a także o sposobach ich zachowywania i przekształcania w poezji. 🌟W centrum wydarzenia znajdzie się także refleksja nad długotrwałym procesem „rytualizacji języka", czyli poszukiwaniem takiej formy wypowiedzi, która pozostaje jednocześnie piękna, prawdziwa i wierna swoim źródłom.
